Flu Season 2020/21

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic we have had to make changes in the way we run our flu clinics for the safety of all our patients and staff. Please take a look at our information leaflets below:

Flu Programme 2020/21

Flu Eligibility 2020/21

Please note that people in the 50-64-year old age group will not be vaccinated until November and December, providing there is sufficient vaccine, and no appointments will be offered to this age group until then. This is to ensure that those who are most at risk are vaccinated first. If you are 50-64 and you are in one of the other groups which is eligible for the flu vaccination, for example you have a health condition which puts you at risk from the flu, you will be invited earlier.

Coronavirus (COVID-19)

The NHS and Public Health England (PHE) are extremely well prepared for outbreaks of new infectious diseases. The NHS has put in place measures to ensure the safety of all patients and NHS staff while also ensuring services are available to the public as normal.

If you have a high temperature, new continuous cough or a loss of, or change in your normal sense of taste or smell please do not attend the surgery.
