FACE COVERINGS

We are asking all patients who attend the surgery to please wear a face covering to protect other patients and staff. All staff will be wearing face coverings and appropriate PPE.

From the 24th July face coverings must be worn in all shops and supermarkets – following this guidance we have been receiving a lot of phone calls requesting exemption letters/forms. We are unable to issue any letters or forms for face mask exemptions, please do not ring the surgery to request this. The current government guidance suggests there is no requirement for evidence for exemption, therefore, it should be sufficient for an individual to self-declare this in most cases.

Coronavirus (COVID-19)

The NHS and Public Health England (PHE) are extremely well prepared for outbreaks of new infectious diseases. The NHS has put in place measures to ensure the safety of all patients and NHS staff while also ensuring services are available to the public as normal.

If you have a high temperature, new continuous cough or a loss of, or change in your normal sense of taste or smell please do not attend the surgery.
